I’ve got some exciting news for you all today!

Life. Camera. Actions. and Tequila Casa Noble are giving away an all expenses paid trip to the SHOOTERS Lighting Workshop in Guadalajara, Mexico for one lucky photographer!  That’s right – your flight, suite, and the workshop are all FREE!

Before we get into all the juicy details, here’s a little bit about SHOOTERS Workshops just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months (and if you already know about SHOOTERS, you can skip down to “THE PRIZE!”)

SHOOTERS is a lighting workshop by off-camera flash wizards, Brett Jarnagin, Hiram Trillo, and Danny Cuevas. Their goal is to help you take your images from drab to dramatic through a hands on teaching style covering everything from off-camera flash to post-processing.  They will teach you to see and create light in ways you never thought imaginable.

SHOOTERS has already put on workshops in the US and Mexico and has plans to visit Argentina, Venice, Paris, and several US cities in 2011.

THE PRIZE!

You’ll fly down November 14th and be picked up by your driver and then taken to the Tequila Casa Noble hacienda (ranch) in Tequila, Mexico (just outside of Guadalajara) where the workshop will be held. You’ll have your very own suite to kick back and relax in.  On the 15th, take a day to relax on the ranch and enjoy all that Guadalajara/Tequila has to offer.  Then, on the 16 and 17th you’ll get to experience one of the best and most hands on lighting workshops in the world taught by the SHOOTERS.  You’ll walk away with a better understanding of off camera flash and new inspiration to create awe inspiring images, not to mention make some great friends in the process.  On the 18th you’ll fly home with some amazing images and memories that will last a lifetime.

The runner up will receive a $350 credit from our friends at Nation’s Photo Lab! (you must live in the US to win the Nation’s Prize.)

THE DEADLINE

The deadline to enter is October 30th at midnight, Central Standard Time.  The winner will be announced here on the blog on October 31st.

We will draw the winner at random using random.org

THE FINE PRINT

To enter you must live in North America and have a valid passport (if you live outside of Mexico.)  You are responsible for your transportation to the airport you fly out of and your meals.  Life. Camera. Actions. will pay for your round-trip flight, Tequila Casa Noble will cover your transportation from the airport to the hacienda and put you up in a suite of your own, the workshop itself is free courtesy of SHOOTERS.  The workshop will be taught in English and Spanish.  This contest is only for photographers so you must have a DSLR (no free trips for plumbers!  Sorry guys!)
